Research |
 Mair is currently in her first year as a Ph.D student. She recently relocated from San Francisco, where she danced professionally with Kathleen Hermesdorf/MotionLab, Company Mecanique, Lizz Roman and Dancers, Sean Dorsey/FreshMeat and Project Bandaloop. In 2003, she received the Bay Area Izzie Award for Performance. Continuing her research from her M.S. in Kinesiology, she is interested in concepts of embodiment, the intersection of dance research methodology and the creative process and performativity through socio-cultural constructs. |
