Dance 260

Christine Boshinski is a junior dance major with a choreography concentration at The Ohio State University. She is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. At age 3 she began dancing with Capital Area Dance Theater and later continued her education at Harrisburg Dance Conservatory, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and Pennsylvania Regional Ballet. She also attended summer programs at The Rock School of the Pennsylvania Ballet and Kaatsbaan. Throughout her studies she has trained with Alan Hineline, Darla Hoover, Martine van Hamel, Peter Boal, Tony Powell, and others. In 2004 she performed at the International Dance Festival in Heidelberg, Germany. This past summer she attended Regional Dance America’s Craft of Choreography Conference 2007 in Seattle, WA where she spent 2 weeks choreographing new pieces in a constructive environment. Here at OSU Christine hopes to begin her aspirations as a choreographer along with her interests in dance kinesiology. After graduation she hopes to attend a graduate program that will allow her to continue working on her choreography skills as well as exploring the kinesiology behind the dance.
