Erik Abbott-Main, a Michigan native, is currently pursuing an MFA in Dance at The Ohio State University. Prior to graduate school, Erik performed with Louise Richilin in Los Angeles, Peter Sparling Dance Company, Michigan Dance Project, and the Detroit Dance Collective. He received his undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts & Dance from Eastern Michigan University, and remains a huge campaigner for the arts in Michigan. In addition to performing, Erik has choreographed and instructed at numerous dance institutions and universities. He also remains an active student in yoga, literature, and 1-legged hula-hooping.
