  Kathryn Sauma

Kathryn Sauma is an undergraduate student at the Ohio State University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance. She began her training at a local studio in Warren, NJ studying ballet, modern, and other contemporary styles. She received a scholarship from her high school and the Rachel Alberto Memorial Scholarship in recognition of her dancing. Kathryn was a member of the Kent Place Chamber Dancers and attended New Jersey Ballet throughout high school. Kathryn has danced with the Washington Rock Modern Company in New Jersey for nine years, performing and choreographing work. She performed professionally with the Cleo Mack Dance Project and has performed in repertory pieces with Ruth Andrien and Pamela Pietro while attending the American Dance Festival for two summers. Some influential teachers have been Cleo Mack, Stuart Loungway, LeAnn Yannelli, Jeffrey Bullock, Pamela Pietro, and Ruth Andrien.
