biopicAlyssa Nicholas is currently a dance major at the Ohio State University. She previously trained at the Larry Cervi School of Performing Arts. She also took private voice lessons and assistant-taught dance classes there. Alyssa attended Point Park University’s International Summer Dance six times, and trained through their Pre-Professional Dance program. She performed in four musicals at Franklin Regional Senior High School. Some highlights were her roles as “The Sad Girl” and Dance Captain (Bye Bye Birdie 2008), and “The Pearl Lady” (Thoroughly Modern Millie 2007). Also at Franklin Regional, she danced for three years with the dance squad called Pantherettes. She performed with this group in Orlando, Florida in the Citrus Bowl Parade, and in the Magic Kindom’s New Years Eve Day Parade. Alyssa has also performed as a member of the “Teen Dance Chorus” for 42nd Street with the Pittsburgh CLO.
