bio picJessica Boone born and raised in central Texas. Her training began with with Gay Pollock and Cinnamon Parsons at Fusion Dance Company, where she also studied Cecchetti ballet technique with Renata Sanford. Jessica also studied dance at Deborah Case Dance Academy and Kathy Marfin's Dance School. She attended the North East School of the Arts concentrating in both dance and visual art for the last two years of high school and graduated in 2008. Jessica helped design and create sets for her school's performances of the musicals CATS and Thoroughly Modern Millie; she also performed in these shows. She is currently a Dance Major at The Ohio State University. Jessica has spent the last few months training under Susan Hadley, Maria Glimcher and Valarie Williams. She is now taking classes from Melanie Bales and Meghan Durham-Wall. Jessica is currently rehearsing a piece choreographed by Leigh Lotocki for the Dance Department’s Winter Concert. She is also rehearsing a new piece that will be presented by the Dance Department's visiting artist from Taiwan Ming-Shen Ku in the concert Dance Downtown in May.
